campus with gtt carb
« on: 14:52, Thu 12 January 2012 »
Can anyone please help me with any imformation on swapping  prima campus efi with a gtt carb? I have removed the efi & chucked it in the hedge, but am unsure how to plumb up the gtt carb to get it working. I hope someone can help me out!

Welcome to the site 8)
Is there any reason for binning the EFI, did it fail or anything?

If you put the carb on, looking at the driver's side:
The top spout will be your fuel line.
The spout under that connects to your pressure reference to the fuel pressure regulator. This also connects to the spout on the plastic plenumon top of the carb.
The two at the very base of the carb are for coolant.

Passenger side:
Loop the two spouts on the plenum as you won't need them.
The spout at the base of the carb is usually part of the actuator system so can either be blocked, or I think you could use it for a vacuum gauge if you wanted one.
There's one at the front that points down, this is a fail safe and needs a hose routing down to the front of the gearbox.

I think that's all.

I hope thats some help :)

Cheers for the answer. So i will need  a fuel pressure regulator then.... As the petrol goes in the top "spout" at the moment and blasts out the inside of the carb. (filled up the intake manifold & caused a hydraulic lock situation!)

Yes you will need a fuel pressure regulator too but its all designed to work with boost, why did you not leave the efi on? Or fit a carb that doesn't work with boost?

Thats the accelerator pump jet lever, no fuel shouldn't come out of the outlet next to it

There's a little gasket behind the pump jet, it could be split.

new gasket fit it in all off carb re cheek it has no  splits fpr  next ii think that is split and is  letting fuel  escape from the top port where the inlet vac pipe is and is leaking from the pipe near  the pump jet
