posting pics
« on: 20:53, Tue 03 January 2012 »
Hi Gents,

I know this was asked just the other day, but don't really understand the answer.  :?

Is there an easy way to upload directly to your posting?

I have tried to copy and paste, but that doesn't work

I don't fancy the idea of having a social networking site to post my pics

any help appreciated

ta  :)

You don't need a social networking site as such but you will need to use some online service to host your pictures.

I use Photobucket personally but there are others.

www.photobucket.com

Unfortunately there isn't a way to paste pictures you've saved locally on your PC into the forum.

The forum is capable of adding attachments to posts, but that option appears to be turned off. I assume that hosting space might be an issue should everyone start piling photos onto the boards. You would need to speak to the site owner if your curious to know the reasons behind that choice.

If you really want to show off your Renault, feel free to PM me and you can sling the photos my way via email and i will put them in my Photobucket account and put them up for you.

That's a very kind offer... and thank you, but I wouldn't want you to go to any trouble on my behalf. I will get round to sorting an account out some time soon and start getting some pictures uploaded.

I hadn't thought of the size that it would take up on the server.... there's me just assuming that it goes in to the thingy and appears by black magic  :o

thanks any way

Alex
