Which dashboard is right?

Hi guys, random firs post I know...
I was just looking at R5 dashboards and came across these 2 images, both labeled the same, but as you can see the centre consoles are different. So which one is the version you'd find in a GTT (Phase 2) ?
Chris.

The top pic is original phase 2, the bottom pic poss looks like optional extra very similar to the double din centre console you get for the 5

Cool, cheers! On this subject, what's the flap-type piece just above the heater controls? Does it contain anything?

The bottom pic looks like a mis-match of everything.
Phase 1 seats.
Phase 2 doorcards.
Double-DIN center console out of another Renault (not sure which one but they fit the 5).
What's the source of the picture?

Don't know tbh dude, I was just Googling 'Renault 5 dash' and that kinda thing out of interest. Both images were labeled pretty much the same though.
Double-DIN looks cool though?

i tried one of those in a friends car several years back as he wanted to fit a stereo in the lower one and the heater controls in the top slot so that he could fit a flip out screen where the heater normaly goes but to no avail as the double din consoles are a bit of a waste of time unless you have something to fit in the bottom hole that is pretty shallow as a standard sized stereo hits the floor before its all the way in

i dont know for sure, we never got that far because the stereo wouldnt fit where he wanted it but loads of people swapped over the heater and stereo back in the day, from memory of reading about it in magazines they had 2 control cables, one long and one short, you had to change the short one of the cables for a long one to allow it to reach not sure about how they actualy fit though

hey
anyone knows where to get double din centre console? Or do anyone have any VIN number for a car that had it factory installed? I need to check at my dealer for prices.
