Few electircal issues

Hey guys. I'm having some bother with my rear wiper and heated rear screen.
When press the button/switch on the dash the heated rear light illuminates, but the screen does not clear. New rear window maybe?
The rear washer works fine, but when I press the switch for the rear wiper... nothing happens. I've had the fuse box out and checked the fuse/relay. I can hear and feel the relay click when I push the button and the fuses are in tact??? Is there a difference between a front wiper relay and a rear relay? I've also bought a new rear wiper motor and still no joy. Any help would be appreciated.

Check if you got 12v going to the rear wiper motor when the switc is pressed on, it sounds like poss supply problem or even earth fault

Peel back the rubber cover where the wires pass from the car body into the boot, it's up by the hinges. Check the condition of the wires.

Mine had twisted and frayed over the years.
