k tec ktr piston and liner set

Any one have them fitted ? Are they any good ? They seem good for the money. I will be rebuilding a lump for my 5 soon. Im not looking for massive bhp. But I would like a nice powerful lump. And wondered what sort of power are theese good for ?

With everything set up correctly, ie the fueling & intercooling, 20 psi would be fine (with supporting mods) standard turbo will blow hot air over 14psi so wouldn't reccomend turning it up over that.

Thats nice to know. Any ideas if the standard renault items are cheaper ?

im pretty sure gt turbo spares and cgb can do you a cheaper deal on pistons/liners

As others have stated, I'd recommend shopping around before going to K-Tec... they can be a bit pricey for standard parts.

Yeah I found k tec really dear I just noticed this as a set and thought it was uprated and was good value but seems its not :-(

I work in the trade as a mechanic and I am constantly learning all the time. Sometimes I wish I worked in an office or something but that would just bore me. Recently I have been helping the boys in the bodyshop I feel like a apprentice I just avnt got the head for that side of things
