Fule pump loom wires

yo guys this is the last niggely thing i have to do before i can turn the key and start my raider,



looking into getting a new loom, although on a string budget atm, so if it could be fixd it would help a little (inless the looms are a fiver)

 the problem is i thought there would only be 2 wires say orange brown just to fuel pump, but instead there are like 3 orange and maybe 2 green and a brown or summing, im not sure where the wieres should be going and if one orange wire dose go to the fuel pump how do i no if the orange that i might be holding is the right one??

Have you no wiring at all from the fuel pump that you could trace back? I don't mind jacking mine up tomorrow afternoon and having a look. What about the wiring diagram in the Haynes?

no wires on the underneath of the car atall, the guy who welded everything up was good at welding / taking things off, but not putting em back or letting me no what bits he had taken off what or where  :roll:  he did a very nice job of welding though  :mrgreen:

and i dident want to put any one out there way for it, just wounded if there was any people on here that might just happen to know these few wires  :oops:

i would assume 2 wires for the pump and 3 for the sender, (i havent looked at the fuel pump on a 5 just going by most internal fuel pumps

think my pump is on the way out, so i have a walboro 255 to fire into it i can have a look see when i'm doing this

The fuel pump only has two wires attached to it.

I suppose the best answer will be......which two wires are those.

yeh its deffo 2 to the pump.. live and earth, but it still leaves me with 3 or 4 wires, u say senders, do u mean the bits in the tank?? and will i be having to drop the tank to fix this  :cry:

spoke to mike from turbo spears he said that there were wires for fuel pump then gauge senders for the clocks..

well good news i just put my order in to mike for a new loomd and a few other bits, happy chappy now  :mrgreen:  next week i should be able to get it started...will i need to plug all the senders in and so on to get it woking or can i just run the car for a bit with the pump pluggd in?
