alright guys im ordering new break lines from cgb and was wondering what the difference in zinc and steel plated ones is??? thanks

Do you mean the xinc plated or stainless steel connectors? Zinc plating is used as a rust inhibitor, the zinc does not rust. If damaghed or chipped the steel underneath the plating may rust though, which will eventually flake off the rest of the zinc plate. Stainless steel connectors will not rust, end of. Stainless is more expensive though.
