best bet is to buy a decent afr kit and start from there, as mark says go back to standard venturi then back to standard main jet then work your way through the carb eg 2nd stage,air corrector and if needed a bigger needle valve.
its all trial and error fella i will be the first to say that i knew nothing about these cars a couple of years ago but it comes with time and help from fellow members like mark above is priceless
