Yes i am the dummie :lol: do i need to do a wet test or dry, also engine hot or cold etc im trying to find the cause of some white smoke i had yesterday

start with a dry test first

engine up to temp
disconnect fuel pump relay
have a fully charged battery
remove all spark plugs

insert tester into first cylinder
throttle held wide open
crank over till gauge stops going any higher and read off the pressure

repeat for rest

should be around 150psi ideally and minimum of around 120
