Hey all

Did a deal with my diesel saxo with this a few weeks back and i love it,guy i got it off was 50+ which will probably explain the styling,i'd like to put it back to standard lookin but i just cant bring myself to do it,
I suppose its cos when i were growin up this is how a modded 5 looked LOL!!

Theres quite an extensive spec list for the engine which is a bonus,

anyway let me know what you guys think

OH AND IF ANYONES GOT ANY 15" 3 SPOKE ALLOYS KNOCKIN AROUND THEY WANT SHIFTIN LET ME KNOW ASAP!!!

lose the gay flashy wing mirrors an maybe the spoiler an ull have a lovely lookin 5. love that front bumper, reminds of some kinda yank muscle car front end

I don't have any, no. You might remember a GTT called 'black beauty' which I think had 16" 3-spokes on. They did quite suit it I thought. On the whole though I think they look quite dodgy especially the smaller you go. But each to their own.
Best bet would probably be breakers yards and ebay.

mirrors are on there way out,got some standards,spoiler is stayin!!!!,it keeps the back window dry LOL.

you'll not change my mind on the 3 spokes either ,as for the bumper i hate it but thinkin of filling it with an intercooler.

i have standard mirrors for it LOL,

spec is ...gt tuning HE7 turbo
group A carb
285 cam
low comp piston/liner kit (gt tuning)
it has other bits and bobs but somewhere through its life things like the lobster pot ect have been removed.

it runs 1.5 bar atm with no problems but a front mount and boost increase on the rollers is next on the to do list along with the standard mirrors and maybe a new front bumper

Im liking it matey, its got a 90's look to it, mine came with them gay mirrors when i bought mine in 2002. Its nice to see someone else with a huge over the top spoiler too  :lol:

Think you have to have an OTT spoiler on a modded R5.....appparently its in the owners handbook LOL
