Cracked a liner so pulling engine out and start rebuild going to put forge pistons and rods
with steel liners..but unsure what size to go for ?
Going to us 285 cam and adjustable vernier , fmic (ggtunning) running t25 turbo..
head is ported and polished  .

Why not leave standard stuff in there, more than good enough and up to the job.

If you did go forge pistons and rods stay standard size, i wouldn't bother with steel liners at all there is no need for them

ok ill go with the std size then and std liners but will go with forge pistons and rods

What caused your cracked liner??  what boost you running?? what's your afr's like? also do you know your charge temps?? Are you listening for det/ knock??

I dont now what boost or afr im running at the monment
just brought a afr gauge and boost gauge
heard it pink but to late by then.
going to put new liners and 285 cam in at the week end.

Your bay looks nice mate in that first pic - just wondering though...are you using two intercoolers ??

I cant think if i've seen that before, cant be bad for inlet temps tho  8)
