the bonnet worked well with the color of car i think aswell and yeah those vectra gsi's are savage aint they.... sounds like a jet when standard air filter kicks in and they go well

yeah i will be mounting a big front mount behind it and pipework showing anyway

That is the reason i like picture 1, but i still like idea of the gt kit on the car

Here is a couple of variations i have just photoshopped for smooth front bumper (image off google)

Smooth (1) - Grill cut out

Smooth (2) - small grill in bumper

Smooth (3) - small/bigger cutout

Personally i like number (1) after editing but i think 2&3 will look better once intercooler/rad is sitting behind bumper

Post comments below, all opinons welcone!

I just rebuilt my t2 with a 360 thrust bearing and new shaft bearings etc.
I used some of the missus nail polish to mark the positions of the turbine wheel in relation to the compressor wheel, and lined it all back up on reassembly, all thats needed is very small circlip pliers
and to be careful when removing the turbine housing as you can damage the wheel.  no problems
yet at 18 psi, but time will tell.  :D

good effort bud

I am just starting my Campus Turbo Conversion/Project and would like to see how many of you think Standard GT Bumpers would look better on the 5 with gt bodykit or Smoothed Campus Bumpers with GT Side skirts,

please cast your vote above and leave comments below

thank you please

How much work is involved in rebuilding/refurbsihing a standard turbo off gt turbo engine as i am after one for my conversion but most of the ones i am coming acrross need rebuilding or some maintanance work done to them

Is it adviceable to avoid these ones?

any help is greatly appreciated
