after abit of over enthusiastic bidding on t'old fleabay i have ended up with two alloy header tanks for the 5
just wandering if the spare could be put to good use as a catch tank or something
ifnot itll be up for swaps as i need a chrome carb top rocker cover or a front mount got the 5

ahh i see is this the mod which loops the carb top and leaves one actuator port venting to air and the other to carb base then?

picked up another t2 recently as my oil seals were f****d the new turbo also came with an elbow but it has a bolt in the rear where the metal pipe usually bolts into just wandering why this has been done?

the pistons should be pre lubricated from factory mate bit of copper ease on caliper bolts and pad carriers never goes a miss though.tighten up quick bleed and jobs a good en ! :D

i see where your coming from with the whole idea of blasting past modern cars in a turbocharged shoebox
you already own a 5 :twisted: surely thats more than enough to get your kicks?
saying that a kid round my way built one with a c20let in the front took him ages and a lot of work but it was awesome :lol:

got a shed load of hoses to replace the ones missing on my 5 just wondering if anybody had diagrams or a list knocking about for which hoses go where as its totally baffling me
also im looking to tidy up the bay asmuch as possible so if theres any mods i can do to remove pipework id be very grateful to know
i need diagrams or point to points for
the carb the inlet manifold the water pump swirl pot and breather pot
