I think the block your talking about is a spider valve, you can set the max boost level with this so you dont over boost just by unscrewing the bleed in car.. Something along them lines, ive never used one.....

.20 inlet and .25 ex for the clearances will do you ok

I wouldnt piss on a tuners carb if it was on fire, and id refuse to set one up if anyone turned up with one... Ill make a nice cake tho  8)

Ive got this size as i had all my set up taken from another car (clio GT) and i didnt want to cut up my GT... i KNOW im not getting peak performance from my cooler but im building this thing just for a weekend toy... will do for me...  :D

Dont rule out a seized piston knock.. common on these also with a poor set up engine... Bottom ends are pretty tough imo and can take some stick on these lumps...

Or you can remove the dizzi drive unit and gear and prime with a drill or if you do it the normal way take the plugs out so theres less strain on the starter and battery if your turning it over for a min to get pressure..

Also id look why you melted your old engine to? as you may have a fueling issue etc that will just do the same to the second lump... good set ups worth every penny....

The pump you have fitted will do ok? I recently id a conversion on a 1.4 campus and the lad is running 1bar boost with good fueling... You need to compare its flow and pressure rate to the ph1 GT pump to compare.. should be in the hynes i bet?

Bass J if your pump only made 12psi or 8psi, fuel would never reach the carb once boosting  :?

Top= press ref
Base = tank return
The larger side feed (same as base die) is feed to...
Opp side is to carb feed..
