300 bhp in a 5 would be wild but i think its a bit to much and 250 would be more fun and probally more reliable, ive spent a fortune on my engine gas flowed head stage 3, cam, ect ect and now iam looking at a big turbo and a bigger intercooler as i want to run about 200bhp and still have the car be reliable as it only ever comes out on a sunday and i dont want to spend all week fixing it.

there is plenty of universal ones on ebay which iam sure you could fit somehow and it would just be a case of making somepipe work up

yep ive noticed that just deciding if to go for one of the big turbos so i can really turn the boost up

As long as the engine is healthy then it won't be a problem, take into consideration where you drive the car most or what you want to do with it, mine was always going to be a 200bhp+ drag car so i can live with not being on full boost till just over 4krpms & i rev it to 7k, if you want a good fast road car, but like the early punch of the T2 sized turbo's then go for the cheaper one, if you don't mind revving the car over 6k & waiting a bit longer for the kick get a larger unit then go larger, the T28 rollerbearing will spool a little faster than the T25 with .49 but will boost harder & you'll run out of revs fast if you are running alot of boost ;) .
Also smaller turbo for 1bar, if you run 20psi or more a larger one won't feel as dead.

If i remember right you have a decent spec so you won't have a problem running any of the turbo's, i thought i'd warn you of the 'lag' issue as it's a totally different power delivery.
Also the carb will need sorting with wideband or on the rollers to be safe & the larger cooler will be good if you plan to run big boost.

as you no i only use the car on the odd sunday and its not my daily driver and i plan on doing a few track days with it and a few trips to pod, iam just one of those people who like to push things to the limit so getting 200+ bhp out of a little 1.4 would be really good and make the car a very fast little 5 on the road
