As Ash says it was in the classified section, might have been removed some time back as it was prob done a few years back now so prices would have chnaged.  I think Steve might have had a good contact at CR turbo's but think his contact left sometime back now.  Worth dropping Steve a pm and seeing if he can remember what was on there he may have a copy somewhere

As you say you want the louvres in specific places I remember 5teveL's old bonnet had vents above the carb and when it rained it let in alot of water so he made an alloy plate to fit on other side of bonnet so water would run forward.

The vent's need to be in good locations like a few above the rad to help warm air come out, above your air filter new location, propbably some above the turbo area aswell but then all these vent's will let water in if parked up and raining.

I would put it back to std matey you can get a few deg adv just by swapping the tdc wires around.  Not worth risking matey do you know compression ratio of your engine?  Det could be a problem

Balanced bottom end lightend flywheel
New pistons and liners piper 285 cam plus vernier

Things I would like advice on
Best boost pressure
Carb jets to suit boost pressure
Ingnition timing to suit above
I have set ignition timing to 9degrees by adjusting tdc sensor

If you want to adjust boost pressure i would suggest you invest in a decent AFR wideband kit like the AEM uego before you increase otherwise you may find you have a few problems with the engine due to lack of fueling.  Max boost on a std T2 I would not go beyond 15-16psi and thats bordering it's effiency range.
To get the most out of your engine you would ideally want a full T25 with .49 rear housing that will go well with your 285 cam.  

Ref carb spec unfortunatly I can't say what will suit your engine as all engine's differ, but mod's to the air correcter and 2nd stage are the way to go smaller a/c and larger 2nd stage

Save your 's matey it will only crack and it gives you very little gain + you will also loose the GTT burble. Spend the money elsewhere :mrgreen:

The 5 doesn't have an ECU as such it has a coil and a basic ignition map in the AEI and that is it.

Your fault if it's cutting out is the overboost sensor is attached.

What are the symptom's of not allowing more boost? is it cutting out?? misfiring??

A few of us have done it fairly easy conversion, I have done it, 5teveL has done it and markey mark has done the f7p n/a conversion but has the skills and knowledge to do turbo conversion with ease.

There will be pro's and con's to it.

Pro's are fuel injection, 16v, start first time every time.
Con's no turbo so you will loose the turbo pull but then turbo conversion on that engine is fairly easy to do
