I've fitted complete front end of Clio I on my R5.. ..subframe, arms, hubs, suspensuion and so on and it fits with small modifications (I had to drill one new hole in subframe). As R19 parts and Clio parts are almost the same, I'd say they fit to R5 but you have to know that Clio front end is aprox 4cm wider than R5, R19 is even 3 or 4cm wider than Clio :-)

I've used complete Clio front end (subframe, arms, hubs, Clio suspension etc), I've changed the engine to 1.6 8V (K7M), I'm using Clio 1.8 16V rear subframe and torsion bars..

I'm fabricating exhaust manifold..

A lot of things has changed since my last post on here..

I've made front coilovers with camber plate..

Then it was time, to stat work on bodywork.. engine bay welded and modifyed..

Some parts strenghtned..

Then it was time to put in the engine..

Making intake manifold for bike cars..

I still have lots to do..

What suspension do you have on your car (front and rear)? Are this (front axel) KW coilovers?

smudger.. ..It wasn't that bad. I've bought another 5 Campus (for 50€) for spare parts. Bonnet, right front light and front bumper were damaged in my incident, when I hit tyres in a chicanery.

bazr5gtt.. ..my coilovers aren't finished jet. My plans are, to get Bilstein B12 or B16 damper inserts, use original dampers as housing for Bilstein damper inserts. This way I'll have very good combination od top quality dampers and option of different racing springs (main and helper spring) + ability to fully set front suspension geometry (camber and with some modifications castor).

I've bought 1.6 energy engine (1.6 8V, 90HP) from Renault Megane. Engine will be slightly modified (lightned flywheel, head work, bike carbs etc) so I'm expecting arround 110HP.
