sorry if you think i miss sold the car to you mate. ive not had it all in bits or on a ramp. when you came to view i did say i didnt know a lot about them also you came to view the car twice and were happy to take it away. im sure buy law it is the responsibility of the new buyer to check he is happy with the object he is buying. as i say ive never striped the car so dont feel i can be accused of selling you a bad car having said all the above and taking your comments on board i still think it was worth the money paid

I rebuilt an old T2 with the 'rebuild kits' you can get on places like eBay etc. It lasted about a month before it went pop worse then ever.

It's a specialist job which requires the proper machinery. I know the online guides say you can mark the wheels and fit them back in the exact place to retain the balance etc but i have my doubts.

I must of wasted an unspeakable amount of money constantly buying Rover T25 turbos and god knows what off eBay.

In the end i coughed up a fair amount of money for a proper turbo designed for the R5 and touch wood it's never given me any greif and i wished i had done it from the start rather then mess about with all those old units and random bits and bobs.

any idea of a rough guide price mate ?
