for the 285 cam you will need the vernier pulley and you will also need uprated valve springs to.

as for the fitting side why not use a haynes manual? cheap as chips off ebay if you havent already got one

gunna wait a while till i get a bit more cash get em coated in white with mayby a dash of white, and if they look a bit shit then ill sell them,    are they rare rims or just classics ???

thanks allot :D

I don't think there rare exactly, there just very popular with R5's. VW owners seem to like them as well.

i agree they arent really rare but are very hard to get hold of a good set because most people get them refurbed and then sell them on for 250+ if you look hard enough you can get a cheap set but most peolpe just want to keep a hold of them for years lol

hi mate and welcome to the forum

these cars are only unreliable when they arent looked after propearly or wrongly modified (i.e standard engine running say about 25psi boost pressure from the previous boy racer owner lol) but if it is all done propearly then i cant see any problems i used mine as a daily runner for 6 months solid and the only thing that broke was the starter motor (which cost a mere 23 to fix)

they are really good little cars and they are very reliable in my opinion
