Watched a classic car prog other day and they put car in 4th gear and push it back and forth to see if bottom pulley moves , they also take out plugs and squirt wd40 down each plug hole , they use straw on can and do 10 quick squirts in each , also if its been stood so long , petrol could have gone off (lost its octane) , so best to empty tank and put some new in

The wires for your fog lights come from a plug behind the other headlight

Are you lifting expansion bottle to give it a bit more pressure , dont screw bleed screws back in until water is gushing out of em , screw em in with water still running out so air isnt sucked back in

i agree , get a cheap mig , its all you need for bodywork , watch u tube to see basics , go to local sheetmetal place and get some same gauge plate as body and practice practice practice , make sure everythings spotless and bare metal on car when welding , its not hard and make sure you disconnect battery before welding

mine were same , when door card was off i noticed rubber strip had come away on runner so pushed it back on and sprayed WD40 into runners from top of door all way to bottom of inside of door and they work alot  better now

CLIO 16V is what i got mine off , same on 106 gti and saxo vtr or s to name a few , with them being screw in type you can put a piece of metal between grooves on piston and twist it out , its easier than trying to blow it out

also replace all brake fluid as you do get spongyness in old fluid and i've even heard of someone topping theres up wi water lol

Theres a bit of pressure in it because when you press the pedal the servo puts pressure on the fluid to work the pistons in the calipers and when you release the pedal the pressure releases but you probably have a little pressure left in the system , have you looked at servo ? if servo is leaking pressure you'll have no force on pedal , you can test servo by pressing the footbrake a few times then hold it down and start the engine , as engine starts there should be a noticeable 'give' in the pedal , let engine run for at least 2 minutes then switch it off , press brake pedal and you should hear a hiss from the servo unit as you press it , after about 4 or 5 times of pressing the hissing should stop and the pedal should feel firmer . if the servo doesn't work like that check the vacuum pipe and check its not kinked , run engine and disconnect pipe and check there is a vacuum in pipe also check non return valve goin into servo . (this test is courtesy of Haynes manual) good luck pal , i've no more ideas sorry

R U bleeding the left rear then the front right , then the right rear then front left because they're in a circuit together , have you checked the load pressure compensating valve is working , i had to free mine off as it was stuck in

If you can get a slide hammer , screw it in where the key goes and give it a bang , this should pull barrel out then get a screwdriver in and you'll be able to turn it to correct position to pull rest out

Do you need the cooling fan relay ? Can you connect the orange wire from the rad switch straight to the fan wire so when the switch lets voltage through it turns the fan on?

I've a similar problem , do you actually need the relay ? Can you wire the orange wire from the rad switch straight to the fan wire so when the switch comes on at temp it sends 12v to the fan ,?
