can anyone tell me where the above are routed to and also the 2 ports in a v shape on the drivers side of the carb

Renault 5 GT Turbo / header tank as catch tank?

after abit of over enthusiastic bidding on t'old fleabay i have ended up with two alloy header tanks for the 5
just wandering if the spare could be put to good use as a catch tank or something
ifnot itll be up for swaps as i need a chrome carb top rocker cover or a front mount got the 5

picked up another t2 recently as my oil seals were f****d the new turbo also came with an elbow but it has a bolt in the rear where the metal pipe usually bolts into just wandering why this has been done?

Renault 5 GT Turbo / hose diagrams for carb inlet manifold and water pump

got a shed load of hoses to replace the ones missing on my 5 just wondering if anybody had diagrams or a list knocking about for which hoses go where as its totally baffling me
also im looking to tidy up the bay asmuch as possible so if theres any mods i can do to remove pipework id be very grateful to know
i need diagrams or point to points for
the carb the inlet manifold the water pump swirl pot and breather pot

Renault 5 GT Turbo / which hoses ?

right guys just need a little help with hoses as the maze is doing my nut in
1.where do the hohses from the back of the inlet manifold go to?
2. hose from waterpump (just infront of the temp sensor on waterpump)
3.what pipe connects to the valve which runs from the actuator pipework ?

Renault 5 GT Turbo / clio 16v bonnet vent?

fancy a clio valver bonnet vent on my 5 was just wandering whats the best way to go about doing it? is the clio bonnet a straight swap or would it be a cut and weld jobby as i really dont wana go sticking bits of fiberglass to my 5 :lol:

Non Renault topics / 306 engine conversion

right my mates recently bought a 306
its a 1.4 8v but hes been offered a 2.0 16v xsi from another 306
just wondering how difficult hthe conversion is and also whats needed
getting everything with the engine inc engine loom and ecu
should be a pretty simple swap shouldnt it?
anyone done this conversion or something similar?

thinking about getting rid of the dumpvalve on my 5 as its tatty and leaking
plus the fact that chatter is 100 times better than any dumpvalve hah!
just wondering how to go about doing it and what to do with the vaccum hose thats connected to the dv?

has anybody had the pleasure of having to do the door pins on their 5 if so isit difficult/ faffy?
just asking because my n/s door had dropped pretty bad and needs a fair slam to get it shut.need doing as i dont want anybody pushing it trying to latch it and leaving a handprint in my door haha :shock:
