hi guys we are currently removing shauns engine and we are stuck on removing the long driveshaft as i dont want to break it we would be very grateful for any advice on this  :lol:  :wink:

hi guys
i have just recently put a full t25 turbo on my 5 (tomcat turbo) and i am getting the blanking plate made for the built in d/v and was wandering can i remove the d/v's internals and put the standard d/v housing back on until i get the blanking plate

shaun (my brother) is getting a group A chokeless carb how does this work (what happens with the choke cable on the car)

hi guys :lol:

if a carb is flooded how do you get rid of the excess petrol :?

on my brothers car it was idleling very fast between 2000-2500 rpm so i adjusted the screw on the throtle cable (idle screw) and it seemed to be running ok the revs dropped past what i set it at so i turned it back up a bit and now the car wont run :cry:

MINI MIDLAND WHEELS (8X13 ON 175/50/13 RUBBER SLIGHTLY STRECHED)
RESPRAYED IN SILVER WITH ADDED GOLD PEARL

THATS ALL I CAN THINK OF FOR NOW BUT WILL GET A PROPER SPEC PUT ON HIS

HI GUYS WHICH CAM WOULD BE BETTER TO HAVE THE PIPER 285 OR K-TEC RACINGS OWN BUILT ONE THEY SAY THAT THE OWN BUILT ONE HAS A NOTICIBLE DIFFERENCE IN BOTTOM END POWER AND TORQUE ASWELL AS TOPEND ANY ADVICE :?

STANDARD T2
STRAPPED INTERCOOLER
STANDARD EXHAUST(AFTER MARKET BACK BOX)
RUNNING AT 12PSI
K&N CONE FILTER
BUT NOW VERY SOON WILL BE RUNNING THIS

140 MAIN JET / 0.9 AIR CORRECTOR
DOUBLE CAPACITY K-TEC INTERCOOLER
K-TEC SIDE EXIT EXHAUST
ALLOY BOOST PIPES(ALREADY FITTED)
T25 TURBO(TOMCAT IN VARY GOOD CONDITION JUST BEEN RUBUILT BY TURBO PACS)
K&N FILTER(ALREADY FITTED)
I THINK THATS IT AT THE MOMENT BUT ALL WILL BE FITTED AND SET UP BY A LOCAL TUNING GARAGE(HAWK TUNING) AND SHOULD BE RUNNIG 16PSI SO COULD ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT BHP I WOULD BE LOOKING AT (ESTIMATES IS FINE)

Renault 5 GT Turbo / sensor in intercooler

hi guys just wondering i got a strapped intercooler off john (smithsgtt) a couple of ago and only put in 2 days ago at first when i took it off the non strapped 1 had a sensor in te port (going to the carb) and the strapped 1 hasnt but still seems to be workin fine is tere any difference between tem  i.e. 1s a phase1 n 1s a phase2

THESE PICS ARE OFF 09/12/08 WHEN I EVENTUALLY GOT THE REAR TORSION BARS FREE FROM RUST AND THE FRONT LOWERED WITH SPAX







ENGINE BAY






 NOW I AM WAITING FOR MY NEW STANDARD GRILL OFF EBAY,
CLEAR FOGLIGHTS ALSO ALLOY BOOST PIPES FROM CGB, AND MY ALLOY INTERCOOLER FOR NOW UNTIL I SOURCE A STANDARD BONNET THEN THE CAR WILL BE PAINTED BY MYSELF IN R19 16V METTALIC BLUE WITH ADDED BLUE SAPHIRE BLUE PEARL
IVE ALSO GOT SUM CLIO TURBINES GOING ON BEFORE CRIMBO WILL GET THE PICS ON WEN I GET THEM PAINTED UP.
