hi, just bolted my head down and realised the valve stem seals have popped off again, even after i super glued them on last time lol. could i get away with unbolting the head and re use the gasket? it hasnt been run

just noticed the adjusters are a alot lower and not much sticking out the nut compared with my old cam, is normal? anybody got any ideas? ive set them @ 0.20 in 0.25 ex

Can someone with an afr meter do me a favour an check wot happens to the afrs if u pump the brake pedal Wen the car is idling? mine keeps increasing but the only reason I'm worried about it is that I get slight hesitation Wen I put my foot on the throttle an my afrs go right up for that split second so I'm kinda sure its down to an air leak and after checkin most things I think its to do with the servo

alright guys, how do i go about setting my flywheel in the right place in position with the crank? i took it off one engine to fit to another an never thought to mark up the old one up lol

right wen if i put my foot down in 4th gear i get 12's @wot but if i screw it from 1st gear everything is fine until i hit about 4k in 4th gear where it runs really lean. if i back off then floor it again everythin is fine and im back at 12's anyone got any ideas?

right ive run out of adjustment on my actuator. i am planning on gettin a collins one but for now do u think adding some more thread to my current actuator wud be ok? or am i pushin the limits of it?

well im lookin to buy a new actuator as ive near enuff run out of adjustment on mine an im doing away with the boost controller because of boost spikes. anyone got any suggestions? bin lookin at the k tec t3 one as its cheap enuff but thought id see wot u guy's say

i had my lc-1 mounted on top of the strut an it fuked up, so was just wondering where other people put theirs??


Amid the global economic crisis, the classic car market is a rare British success story, but the new scrappage incentive threatens to damage this by paying people to dispose of perfectly serviceable retro and classic cars.

This will lead to jobs being lost in the retro classic car industries; meanwhile the vast majority of this scrappage money will go toward subsidising foreign car companies. Given that the most polluting stage of a carís life is its manufacture, we therefore believe that it is a horrible waste to encourage retro and classic cars to be scrapped in favour of newer models with shorter operational lives.

A properly maintained old car not only puts out significantly less emissions (including C02) than is permissible by law, it also prevents the need for other, more wasteful, cars to be produced and consumed.

We therefore urge the protection of cherished, well-maintained cars by re-instigating the rolling 25-year road fund licence exemption for historic vehicles. This will help protect our motoring heritage and its manufacturing industries in the face of recent legislation.

just took my boot off to try an straighten one of the hinges as it was a bit mishapen an found that the pins that run through the hinge have snapped on both sides. anyone got any ideas where i can get the pins from? or how to remedy this?
