Renault 5 GT Turbo / Help with wires

I was wondering if anyone would know what these two wires in the picture are for, the brown wire comes from what I think is the fan relay and the black wire comes out the loom were the relay wires go. I dont think ive ever had the fan come on by its self as Ive always had a switch in the car. I want to get it sorted now but still keep the manual switch. would someone be willing to check the same wires on there car please.  cheers

Are piston rings for forged pistons the same sizes as with standard pistons??

When fitting a performance cam with a veiner pully does the head need to be on?? Its just because I dont think I will be albe to fit the engine back into the bay with the head on as Im keeping the gearbox in place. thanks

whilst driving today suddenly there was a cloud of smoke behind me that smelt of oil since then it hasnt been to bad but is smoking now and again.  Ive toke off the down pipe at the turbo end and there was no oil and was dry, then I took of the telephone hose and there was a fair amount of oil in there and also the boost hose going to the turbo had a bit in, theres very little play in the turbo.

Im not to sure if the turbos buggerd or its the stem valves or something can anyone help!!

Ive just brought a innovate lc-1 windband kit, was just wondering if there will be anything else I will need prior to fitting it eg fuse holders, connections etc..  
Also what readings should I be aiming for, on idle, on boost etc

My car is currently running 14psi boost with a 135 main jet which I discovered when servicing my carb last weekend Im thinking this jet is to big.

Im going to be overhauling my carb and just wondering if anyone had part number for jets, mixture screws etc.. I ve ordered a service kit of ebay.  :D

I think my clutch release bearing is on its way out its making a rattly huming noise and when I depress the clutch the noise goes.  Should I get this sorted stright away or will it go on a while?

I m thinking a bout getting a oil cooler, just wondered whats the best way to block the holes on the rad were the old oil pipes went.

I think Ive developed a knocking noise at the bottom of my engine seems to go once warmed up whats it most likely to be big ends/mains? car is performing as normal.

Is it a costly job to have done on these cars.  Thanks
