right so if i leave the carburettor standard i cant run 20psi of boost? what should i do to the carb so its still not overfueling but good on boost. because its pointless having a t28 hybrid turbo if icant use it to its potential.

It's the relay behind the other relays. Black and with CARTIER on it.

oh right yeh i get you, but if its not fueling enough on boost it will overfuel off boost on idle wont it? and right okay then ill try it tommorow after work and hopefully it should be right. apart from the fuel pump relay has stopped working but without messing about too much i wondered if you new which relay was for the fuel pump? thanks alot, sam

im gonna try and sell it i think. i have got sum 2 other base of the carbs but i think there blocked up. might try and repair it instead. and yeh ive had a look at them they are basically a lambda sensor. but if i set the fueling correct at work on the emmisions machine it should be right shunt it? and also which is the fuel pump relay as i have no diagrams or information on autodate for the fuses? cheers

Renault 5 GT Turbo / carburettor overfueling
« on: 11:16, Thu 31 March 2011 »
hello, i need some advice please, my renault 5 is overfueling badly, it has a rejetted group a carb and ive fitted all new seals, diaphrams jets etc. it was running okay but after driving it a couple of days its started to overfuel a hell of alot, i am a mechanic and have a good knowledge of cars, to me it sounds like it has a carburettor fault but ive made sure it isnt blocked or chocked up and instead of splashing out on another carburettor i wanted to make sure it wasnt something stupid.
cheers sam.
