Title: carbon parts
Post by: tom@brainstorm on 20:12, Fri 17 April 2009
Hi people,

Im Tom I run brainstorm auto art. We make bespoke carbon/ carbon kevlar parts. When I had my gt turbo I hated the sun roof, and recently I was looking on some American civic sites and there big in America

Any way we are in the middle of making the mould for for the sun roof panel.  Also in the pipelines are front wings and maybe rear upper light pods.
And possibly door cards if I could get hold of campus ones.

Any way let me know if any one would be interested if not then ill make 3 or 4 and put them on eBay

Available in carbon/ carbon kevlar / red and blue carbon soon

Ideas welcome please!!

excellent!

a guy local to me makes bespoke carbon parts for a local rally prep business, he made a lot of stuff for my dc2 integra.

i`d certainly be interested in the cloth panels beside the rear seats in carbon, mine need retrimmed and im stumped for a colour

What i think would sell..

Bonnets
wings
rear tailgate (maybe to the drag & track guys more ?)
door cards
scuttle covers
under light trim
the bit above the light

Now how many exactly would sell is a different matter, if you make it up in your spare time & it's a bonus then no real overheads, if it's a job then maybe you will struggle to earn  living from just GTT's..

Nice work as well ;)

frix same as mine. :)

right bit of an off subject. i have just finished my headlight vent for my pulsar. its curently in fibreglass and i just bin painted

would there be any intrest in these??

how would you vent thru a sq headlight, or would it involve removing one?

some peeps have the morette quad headlights and tend to remove the inner headlight on the passenger side and vent thru there!

the one on my pulsar is square ish, i removed the glass, and made a mould from there i made a modified the mould and made the vent.

at the moment its just a grp shell that bonds directly onto the back of the origanal headlight.

then i cut away all the palstic on the rear leavin the mounting points so its oem fitment. with sunny headlights bin on ebay ofr a a fiver its a cheap mod which looks so agressive. and with morretes holding there money still its a good option for track and drag. plus its legal during the day!!

dug around and only got drivers side. so im on the look out for a really cheap headlight.

ill get some pics on that iv just taken
