hi everyone, i'm not a pure r5 turbo man........running a gt5 turbo and solex 32dis in my 1971 karmann ghia. heard this is the place to learn about my new toy :)

there is one on it now:D not the prettiest thing but it goes well. just finished welding the front lower 6' :( she it soild now!

Looks awesome! My uncle is into the VW scene, although not modifying. He has just restored a split screen camper (can't remember what year though.. it's an early one with ribbed bumpers though), and won a few awards and whatnot :)

Have you done anything with the suspension on your karmann ghia?

cool! if its got ribbed bumpers it must be a barndoor? i have a 13window deluxes split to, witch will not be moded in any way! that just not right! yeah the ghia is slammed man! adjusters on the front beam and turned 3-4 splines on the rear! sits about 6cm off the floor at the lowest point. will post some photos of the new front end tomorrow when i've finished it :D
