What Oil Cooler Do People Recomend And What Number Of Rows
Is a Universal One Much Cop As I Was Told That An Astra Oil Cooler From a Gsi Would Do The Job
Would It Just Be a Case Of Buying a Renault 5 Sandwich Plate And Hoses And Bobs Your Uncle
-
iam using a 13 row universal made with a oil stat to make sure the oils not to cool,
people mainly go for the kit from mocal
-
An Oil Thermostat Is Prity Much Needable Then So You Dont Over Cool The Oil How Much Did Yours Set You Back As I Been Pricing One Up From Cgb With Thermo On Ruber Hoses Is £125 But If You Want Braided Its £150
-
sounds about right mine was cheaper cause i got a company to make it to what i wanted (good friends that helped me do this)
-
How Is The Thermo Fitted Can You Put Your Own Inline
-
you can they are just push on fittings fittings for both the oil lines going from sandwich to the stat then from the stat to cooler
-
Wouldnt It Be Cheaper To Get a Custom One Made From Radtec
-
they want around 189.99 + vat and delivery
-
I Was Just Pricing Up The Bits To See If It Would Be Cheaper Because They Do Coolers For Like £30
-
No need to buy a sandwich plate, it's already got one fitted for the original oil cooler.
-
So All You Need Is 2 Pipes A Cooler And A Thermostat
Its Just Buying aThe Rite Threads On The Fitment Or Are They All The Same
-
Thread sizes might vary but take your sandwich plate and oil cooler to somewhere like Pirtek and they will knock you some lines together there and then.
Not bad on price either from my experience.

Whats Not A Bad Price For Oil Lines
-
for the kit
-
Well If I Was To Get A Oilcooler From Rad Tec Tey Do 7rows For £38 And Go Down Pirtek How Much Will They Charge To Make Some Pipes Up
And For Me To Buy A Termostat Would It Be The Same Price Just To Buy One From Cgb
Just Trying To Shave Some Pennys Off a Sum Iv Been Pricing Up
-
Ask them about the pipes and see what they say just give them an idea of length and what type of pipe you want to use and they should be able to quote you there and then, i've only been in there for unions to mate the R5 oil feed to a Rover turbo and i got change from a £5, good value for money in my opinion considering they had nothing 'on shelve' and they had to make one up.
-
Might Give Them A Ring And See What They Say But Then I Doo Need To Get A Thermo And There Prity Exspensive On There Own I Seen Some For £45 So Realy Geting A Cgb One Is Just Plug And Play
Thanks For The Advise Mate
