What Oil Cooler Do People Recomend And What Number Of Rows
Is a Universal One Much Cop As I Was Told That An Astra Oil Cooler From a Gsi Would Do The Job
Would It Just Be a Case Of Buying a Renault 5 Sandwich Plate And Hoses And Bobs Your Uncle

No need to buy a sandwich plate, it's already got one fitted for the original oil cooler.

So All You Need Is 2 Pipes A Cooler And A Thermostat
Its Just Buying aThe Rite Threads On The Fitment Or Are They All The Same

Thread sizes might vary but take your sandwich plate and oil cooler to somewhere like Pirtek and they will knock you some lines together there and then.

Not bad on price either from my experience.

Ask them about the pipes and see what they say just give them an idea of length and what type of pipe you want to use and they should be able to quote you there and then, i've only been in there for unions to mate the R5 oil feed to a Rover turbo and i got change from a 5, good value for money in my opinion considering they had nothing 'on shelve' and they had to make one up.
