It has the Ph1 front and rear arches.

It has the Ph2 front bumper, spoiler and grille in the first pic.

Not surprising really, given the age and type of car these are they get 'played' around with quite a lot.

I'm 95% sure that as a 'D' plate it would of rolled out the factory as a Ph1.

MAYBE IAM GETTIN CONFUESD WITH MK1 AND MK2

Are you thinking of the old shaped R5? Gordini etc.

you say that but markey mark n scrather can even tell ya, i fort my 'd' reg was a ph1 but its 1 of the cross-overs. reason for that was bodywork, interior was ph2 but engine wise was ph1, struts included. its annoyin slightly as i want to get coilovers but everyone that sells 2nd had are ph2's. :(

Jayy, i think your car in its past has been changed abit over the years as in someone has fitted phase 2 kit, interior and buts like that.

D-reg cars would have come out factory with phase 1 parts attached, it was only really the E-reg cars that were called the 'phase 1.5' crossover cars.

As for the suspension, buy a phase 2 suspension kit them fit phase 2 top mounts

The bumper and grill you have on your car now is off a phase 2 model mate
There's no difference to the way they mount so each one can bolt on and off with no problem.

It doesn't really matter though which bumper you got, car looks god anyway. I'd only worry if you were doing a restoration and wanted it to look totally OE

i thought the ligaments for suspension holes under the bonnet where slightly different with each phase or sumit like that.

No mounting holes are all the same for every model

Very nice  :D  :D
The grill and bumper are Phase 2... but try finding phase 1 one's for sensible money
I find the bumpers are always tricky to get just right, that's why mine is always wonky.
Electric windows were and option on the Ph1. Definitely on the earlier ones any-hoo.
Like Mark said, they usually get changed around so much over the years.

The phase 1 bumper is exactly the same but without the 'chin' part on the bottom.

Phase 1 grille is totally different.

Also to add, unlike the pic the kit and bumpers should be unpainted so its still the original black plastic colour
