Norwegian Ph1 R5 GTT project
« on: 18:04, Thu 16 September 2010 »
Hi!

I have a 1985 Renault 5 GTT which I bought as a project for a year ago. In the winter half the project stood still until the spring came and the temperature got higher. As you see on the pictures itís a lot of rust in front of the car. So it will take time before I can drive it, but I have time  :D

Robert

New parts like disk brakes, driveshafts and suspension dampers.

I'm guessing forklift, the car is resting on two pallets.

I could just imagine getting a house and cutting out the roof in a room to store 3 or 4 cars ontop of each other    Would be perfect

We used a forklift as Ash-Lee said.

Nice project! I really like the big package of parts from CGB, must have cost you a fortune!! But new parts are very much worth all the money they cost

I plan to keep it as original as possible, with some personal details. The engine is stock now and I think I will keep it that way. Maybe 150hp, T2/T25 or T25/T25 turbo and a fast road camshaft. New intercooler and stainless steel exhaust manifold would also be nice :D
