My 1987 R11 gt
« on: 12:02, Sun 15 August 2010 »
Hello everyone, I have just brought myself a 1987 R11gt turbo that if i am honest has seen better days, but is a good base to start with. the plan is to use this as a track car as she is already running R5 gt shocks and lowered 35mm with solid top mounts and a R19 16v rear beam. the down side is exessive smoke on over run, so the engine is coming out an gettin rebuild from the sump up.
On order:
K-tec low comp pistons
K-tec Steel liners
CGB Group A head set
CGB Piper 285 cam
CGB piper vernia pulley
CGB piper springs
CGB baffled sump

Pics to follow
