MOT guy was a mate :-)

Passed with flying colours , a few stupid advisories but nothing major to worry about.

Apparently, if you loose your mixture screw from your carb you could just put a bit of blutack over the hole and your car will run okay until you get a new one :-)

Also, don't put the pipes on the actuator the wrong way round or it will just boost to infinity or until the over boost protector kicks in!!!

today I have mostly been making a bracket for my collins -31 actuator!

gor the actuator for 26 quid from fleabay :-) Bargain. Actuator is the long rod type from a cosworth so I knocked up a bracket from 3mm mild steel but it flexed quite a bit when I fitted it so I put some extra bracing on it and that seems to do the job. Boost seems to be a little crisper now or maybe it's all in my head but it does look nice in the engine bay :-)

Nice one, glad to see it's all coming along, good job on the bracket, seems everyone has welders these days :lol:
