My Black Ph.2 R5 : UPDATED 27/01/2010
« on: 21:51, Thu 23 July 2009 »
I have been on here for around a month and have ment a few nice ppl that have helped me get this far with my R5, so thank you. Several live local and have taken there time to pop round to help me.

I brought from a person i know for a few years and get on well with his brother, when brought it was a none starter as the prev owner got lack of funds so i took on the challenage of buying it and get it started, it was long to get it started but it did get me saying the F word alot as i couldnt find the problem at all, but i got there in the end, have done a alot to gettin it on the road but luckly they ave all been small fings.

Some of you may remember this as the black 1 with the Kenwood Sticker across the side but the prev owner took it off the white patches on the pics are where its been welded, fillerd from the prev owner, each side of the qtr panel, i intend to get that dwn the sprayers soon and get all sorted out which shudnt b too long away now as im lookin at taking it to the MOT station shortly jus need the time off work.

i have some plans for it, its mainly gunna be used for day to day with use of driving to n from work and to socially drive around so my intentions are not to mod it up heavily but give it a small tuning up and stil ave it reliable. most mods wil to keep it cool, going to keep it with the std look with bonnet n open grille, windows tinted and rear lights slightly colourd, all dark look.

Bummer :(
What were the minor things?
Do you know how your carbs set up for the emissions?

after examining the car yesterday this is what i currently need to do to my car to get it back looking like a true 5 as atm it looks a bit funny as i have tape over body work atm on rear qtr panels and there are no skirts on

Dials
-----
Lights- Oil Temp, Petrol, Fan, Boost
Broken- Oil
Adjust- Speed

Exterior
--------
Leaky Roof/ Front Window
Petrol fuller needs cutting
Full Respray
Front bumper needs putting on
skirts amending then putting on

Engine
------
Gearbox needs looking at, leaky seals or something

Inside
------
cd player wiring

Currently these are all the problems with my car that need doing which most are small things but with my TLC she will turn into a decent 5 when finished
