Wiper blade looks the same length as mine, just needs the arm removing and moving up a notch or two.

Ha, just tried moving the wiper, the problem is def that it just needs moving, but the spline on it is smoothed off, i think thats why its been put that low, its either to low or to high :D

Ha, im not allowed, with no exhaust its gonna be ear piercingly loud, i dont want to upset next door. This saturday ill have it running :D

You will be surprised, it's not that loud.

I've run my R5 engine with just the manifold when i was trying to diagnose an issue with blue smoke.

I've even driven the best part of 100 mile with no exhaust (well just a stump attached to the downpipe) to collect a new exhaust after mine fell off and that was reasonably quiet aswell.

I once drove a 950cc Fiesta with a broken exhaust and that sounded like a tank coming down the road!!

I might have a go tomorrow then :D
Ive taken the exhaust of my beemer and turned it on, it sounded like a rail dragster! thats only 1.8.

Ill jus realised, ill get all the exhaust fumes in the bay, dont know if i want that, if i have an oil problem ill have a filthy bay AGAIN.

Yeh, it won't be too loud. The turbo acts as a silencer :)

Ok guys, project complete :D:D
It runs, and it runs well.
I get full boost (1Bar) at 5000
spool at just before 4000.
Its not the off lights rocket it was, but now it can actualy pull through the higher gears :D
And the best thing is, if i blow the turbo, you can get them real cheap on ebay.

Sounds just that little bit more laggy then a T25, you might find it feels better with more boost.

I cant get anymore boost out of it, somethings not right, it doesnt seem to be working the wastegate atall, its venting to air so i assume it should be giving imense boost, but it isnt

I dont know, its the standard actuator, but we had to bend it out of position so it may not be performing properly now, even though its attatched to the wastegate fine
