Finished making up the adapter plate today with the studding and relevant holes.

As you can see the exhaust is well out, so instead of just making up another adapter plate, were going to use the spare scooby downpipe.

The bit still needs adapting for my exhaust.

had to rotate the housing so we took the turbo apart, all the pipes will fit snug now axcept the oil feed, but we have the scooby banjo bolt to adapt for that.

what size are the exhaust housing and compressor housing i personally wouldnt be happy reaching full boost at 4500 rpm its worth a go by all means try it i personnaly think it will be laggy are you running this with a std cam or a piper 285 or simlar

As far as i know its a standard cam, ive not had that apart. And i dont know about the sizing, i can have a look on the turbo tomorrow.
I expect it to be laggy but have good gains when it does kick in.

My exhaust is a big bore 2 piece system, its a sidey but im not sure its standard at the turbo end.
The elbow you get with the turbo is obselete, its 1 piece welded down, Im gonna have to cut that last bit off to accomodate for the scooby part

if you get the specs i can do some calculation as to how good te turbo would be mate. a way to tell if the cam is uprated is by measureing the lift

To this

Not the best job as i rushed it but it was more a test to see if the paint was the correct shade for when i start tidying up the rough edges on the bodywork

Ok the turbo is now fully plumbed in.
Water lines lined up fine and the oil feed just needed bending and adapting to fit.

The turbo has its own pressure system so ive blocked the connection on the carb off.

And because it would get cooked ive put the AEI behind the bulkhead.

Also is my wiper supposed to be like this?

Come take me out when its going dude!
And the wiper shouldn't be like that, you wanna get ones 18 inches, unless its the wiper arm thats too big. In that case you'll have to ''borrow' your brother's.

You adjust the angle of the wiper arm so that the blade rests above the seal.
