Little up date

new ally rad now fitted.


1.Got a standard front bonnet fitted with graphics
2. Fitted front oil cooler, mounted behind front grill

In such a short place of time i think its fantastic what u have done with ur 5 ;)  looks awesome...  and original ideas too!  hats off!! ;)

Thanks for the comments guys :wink:  havent been on here in awhile.
took my dash fully out to save on abit more weight

little update,
i managed to be able to detatch the centre plastic part of the dash and made up some brackets to fit in place without all the rest of the dash etc etc as the other bits was the heaviest.

at this time i could only use plywood as i couldnt get my hands on some ally material in time, but on the plus note at least ive got templates to use on the ally when i finally get some :wink:

from this picture i have managed to keep most of the wiring loom hidden and also i painted the plywood with black paint just to make it look tidy :roll:  :lol:


Also fitted a power cut off switch (far right) that goes straight to the battery incase of electrical fault etc etc
fitted a magnet underneath the sump.
will finally paint all around dash black when i get my ally material.

where did u get yr towing eye from mate.

im forever being towed an the standard 1 dont like it lol

renault shell, custom cage, no dash, volvo engine, nissan turbo, apexi boost controler, ksm re-wire, persision automotive down pipe, dta engine management to come.  175 BHP 220 LB/FT torque

hi dave,
 i got it from a guy off ebay, it was ment for my Honda integra type-r dc2 but then i sold the car and just made it fit the renault :wink:
