Blinding job with the cans of paint and the angle grinder! If I tried to angle grind that bonnet there would just be a few bits left of the floor.. but it looks miles better after your handy work.  As you said... the bonnet is usefull and the rear spoiler fits the theme...that will look good on track.. I'd keep it as it is    are u fitting a full roll cage?

After been under the car a few times i noticed i needed a bit of welding done for a MOT, so i went to a local garage that does welding to check it out and give me a price. he put it on the ramps and quoted me 20 cause it was only a little bit needed, OK ill bring it in monday, good see you then.

The guy ended up ripping off the side skirts to do the welding as they was burning
Unfortunatly my Renault 5 bodykit has all been smoothed in (NOT BY ME) by previous owner

So im going to have to take every thing off, Sand all the filler, fibre glass out back to original and start from fresh as there is cracks every where!!
Talk about 2 steps foward 10 steps back

Here i go again, stripped the car down removing windows, lights, plastic trims, ect ect... and preped for spraying Matt Black

Spraying in progress.

Then (Leigh200sx) turned up to do my perspex windows for me, Top bloke very helpfull and full of advice, was good to meet you fella :thumb:
The Man himself at work

Rear window perspex fitted :P

Front windows in perspex, driverside has the fixing point moulded to it so i can use the driverside window if needed :P

Also fitted my tow hook in the end.

finishing off the spraying

finally sorted out the oil leak from the sump and crank seal in the chain cover :P
Had to remove pully, sump and chain cover to change the seals, Also checked the big ends while it was all off, then clean up apply new gasket sealent and put back together. job done :!:

Seats back in with harnesses.

its all finished and ready for the road :P  just waiting for my tax to come  , then ill be able to get it tuned :P
