some progress
went for the MOT last wed, had a whole sheet of failures, most of which were stupid electrical faults, all done now though.

My dad about to weld for the MOT

He wouldnt let me weld it, probably just as well :D

The rust so far, its getting there

I put the dials back to black, i hated that silver look, was an aweful job aswell, much better now.

In getting rid of all the yellow i had i sprayed the calipers and carriers satin black, i left that bit at the back for now, it goes with the existing steering wheel for now, but rest assured it will be changing

Same with the front brakes.

Sprayed the pockets and handle surrounds aswell to make it more presentable, these were yellow, black, tacky, nasty.

Just as we had finished and packed up, my mate in his skyline came over, and we had ourselves a little drive meet :D Dad had to go get the scooby keys.

The bonnets coming on well mate. And I didn't want to say anything before about the silver around the clocks... but it was terrible, haha.
