Thanks, the engines good now, ive only had a go up and down the road but it seems fine. Everytime i go to do something to it though, something else gets in the way, like, my alarm is flattening the battery, got that sorted today then i found out i had no fuel.

I saw your thread aswell, its lookin sweet, thats what i want, to build from scratch in a nice big space. Im fed up of doing all my cars on a gravel drive.

The fuel leaking could be the yellow bung on the tank.
It looks much better on the speedlines, are you taking the coilovers off to lift the front up? I bet I know who's bugsied those.
Give me a bell next time you're back. I wanna come see it again
And peeps are going up to Leicester in a couple of weeks so I might come up then  :D

i had 17's on it, im tryin to sell them actually, want them gone. much prefer the standard look on most cars.

Im gonna leave the coilovers on for now for the mot n stuff, unil i get some decent shocks. I got the springs ready.
I dont know if ive even got a leak, cant smell anything, its just runing through it extremely quick.
Im back in leicester tomorrow. Come up, bring everyone.

Ok, alot of progress has happened on the car.
Sorted all the lighting out finally, every light in the dash now works aswell as the taillights, fuel pump works, fuel gague works.
Turbo plumbed in correctly.
Shiny new wheels :D
Very nearly ready for an MOT
Need to have a look at the handbrake and sort the fan out.
Oh and the oil guage and light dont work properly, that needs sorting.

Thanks to scratcher for my catch tank and helping with the electrics today ;)

Im gonna do the ratlook bonnet aswell, see how that goes :D

Looking good  ;)  are you fitting an OE grill?  I think that would look nice and tidy  (and the original red side decals would be   8)  )

If i can get hold of a cheap grille i might, but i plan on spraying something on the rad and leaving it all open. Might get standard indicators aswell, and euro rear lights, and ofcourse sort the bonnet out.
Then i think its gonna be done.
Ready for me to enjoy :D

Update, i decided to go for the rat look bonnet, so i took off that shite scoop.
Man did it leave a mess, it was put on so badly, sooo badly, twas a mess!

So i got the orbital sander on it, paint came off so easily, i love it.

I completely dusted the car and the engine will need a clean again, but its all done now.

I tidyed up the hole underneath the scoop, which again, was badly cut.
And i also forgot that the eyebrows would have filler, so there not perfect now, but still, should look uniform with the rust.

I put new standard number plates on aswell, but it was to dark to take a photo.

Sanded off most of the yellow paint on the rear calipers and disks. Also fixed the handbrake.

But now, ofcourse, it wont start, alarm is playing about with imobilising it.
Always something.

Just need to play the waiting game :D
