I don't really come out to the street race meets or any of that stuff. I might go up Hams now and again but I rather stick to the drag strip, preferably Shakespeare County Raceway.

I won't be posting up the spec, SORRY.

I'm from around the Pype Hayes area in Birmingham, but I'm moving to Crawley (South London) in the next week or so. You might see the car around still though as it will be staying with a TNE member (in Birmingham) until next year.

 Thanks for the comment 8)

The engine bay is getting resprayed over winter and we're going to give it a wire tuck  8) , just to make it look a wee bit neater.

  Hope you like  :D

That inducer (i think thats the correct term) could suck in small animals. lol...

Boost
« Reply #24 on: 20:25, Wed 19 November 2008 »
LOL

It starts building boost around 3000-rpm & hits full boost at 5000-rpm, but there is no lag in-between gear-changes if you give it all out  8)

boost
« Reply #26 on: 01:37, Wed 21 January 2009 »
I run 1.3 bar on the road for normal day driving and then 1.5 bar boost when racing.
As for internals, I will not disclose the spec, but yes it has had work done and its got a lot of room for improvement still

I was looking little more closely into the graphs and I believe that this car can have that bhp and torque figures but one thing isn't clear to me. Only 10% loss on the drivetrain? I know that all figures are between 25 and 30%...

Are you looking at wheel power measured?

On the first graph Corrected Engine power is 240bhp and Wheel Power is 212bhp.

On the second graph Corrected Engine power is 230bhp and Wheel Power is 200bhp.

So on average Im losing around 15% through transmission.

I've never known a front wheel drive car to lose 25%-30% power through transmission. The only cars which suffer that bad are 4wd drive cars like Evo's, Scooby's and GTI'Rs etc.
