It's been ages since I posted here, since I'm trying to end my education finally....
And I've recently done some work on my 5, so I thought I'd drop in....
After loosing the battle of finding decent original-sized tyres, I got myself a set of OZ Chrono Evolution 16" with Conti SportContact2 tyres...
Hope you like it.... :D

That was the only thing that was missing. Great car mate. Keep us posted how the tires are keeping up with GTT.

Seems like I post in this topic once a year...

But I'm taking things slow with my car, nothing serious happened in the meantime... I did get a set of clear front indicators and clear side repeaters, but it's not that interesing...

What is interesting that I got the car completely resprayed, back to original color of course (the only difference being the technique - now it's sprayed with base coat + lacquer), because the paint deteriorated to such an extent that it was a sad sight...

So, I'll lead you step by step how things went in the past month or so...

Episode one (11.6.2007.):

First of all, the car was photographed so that we can have a full insight into its condition before anything was done to it... status on June 11, 2007...

Episode one - continued:

What's the status of the color on the bonnet, and how missleading the other pics are... :?

Episode one - continued:

Difference between the wing that was resprayed before (previous owner) because of a bump in a parking lot, and the original paint on the bonnet...

Episode three (23.6.2007.):

The bodykit is down and for the first time I got the chance to see the situation with rust...
I was positively surprised by the condition of the car... there are just slight traces of surface corrosion on the sills, everything else is literally intact... hard to believe for a 19 year old car!  :D

Sills...

A classical rust spot on a 5... everything else is OK!
