thats a shame man, it'll be worth it when its all done though.
i was lucky with mine, the engine was rebuilt before i got it.
i haven't decided on taking it to japfest yet, i drove it passed that way after picking it up from cornwall. i might try and jump in a mate's car, otherwise the KA'll be doing the trip. its rubbish on petrol though, it only does 200ish miles to a tank.

its going alright, didn't go through the MOT on tyres and one of the plugs decided to stop sparking so it wouldn't go through emissions.
i'm taking it back tomorrow with a different set of wheels and plugs, its running loads better with the new plugs so maybe i should've changed them ages ago

its taken a while now but its in the MOT shop again and i've been told it will definatly pass now.
heres a couple of shady pictures of it with the new rear arches and different wheels, the profile looks a bit big (50) but the front bupmer stoped scraping the bumps in my road

and this is the D/V which now lives in the shed and the boost pipe which i think looks a bit restrictive with a weird bend. with the /v and the pipe bent like that it held 12 psi but with it coupled and chattering away its holding around 13.5 psi, would that be from the sketchy bend?

and heres tha KA, i know its not a 5 but i love it

i'll get better pics up when i get it back and put the skirts back on.

You just need to trim down the boost hose to get rid of the kink looks like someone has just cut it in 1/2 without trimming it down so it fits nicely matey no more than a 5min job.
