Fair play for putting in all the hard work, but surely finding a good shell would of been easier.

I have to agree campus conversion sounds like alot less work to me and the shell would more than likely be mint

yeh mate it would have, only found the rot on the floors after i welded the quarter and sill and the front end so i couldnt really stop after that,should last me a good few years after all this work :lol:

More work than I was expecting ... this 5GTT must have been one lucky bastard to have you save it.  Least your getting paid to turn the shell from Turd to Turner prize mate!   :wink:   hats off to u... take your time and make it all worth it with a very tidy looking 5 to show for it at the end   8)    (keep us posted)  :wink:

it was more work than i expected :lol: but id got so far with it i had to keep goin i think its sentimental aswell, ive owned it for four years now and just want to complete it to how i want it

will keep posting as im building once this last piece of welding is complete it will really take shape,sealing and painting of engine bay is next so i can get the engine in and plumbed up,gonna cost me a fortune on stonechip to seal this baby up :lol: cheers baz
