What condition are the yellow body panels in, might be easy to get the blue parts matched.

First thing i would do is drain the cooling system and put proper coolant in there, that orange residue on the bottle is bad news, thats a lot of internal corrosion. If it eats away to much at your cylinder head then you will find it difficult to get head gaskets to seal where they meet the tops of the liners, i had to bin two 205 GTI heads because of the same thing (they use liners aswell)

The power output seems a little optimistic, it might of produced that sometime in its history but maybe had the uprated parts removed, as already said the intercooler is a giveaway straight away, what turbo has it got fitted?

Good luck with the project, there can't be many phase 1's around, worth someone taking the effort to put it back on the road.

it needs work but ive bought the car off sum1 on the site stage 3 muppet and hes shown me the figure and that but aint even fussed if it aint for the money im happy with it lol. First thing i need to do is flush the cooling system i know and that rad is going and am fitting a forge intercooler, the body work the yellow parts are fine the door is onli on there as the yello door had bubbled but the blue one is straight so goin to touch it all up in the yellow.
Thanks

have you had an insurance quote yet? I'd put the money towards your premium rather than a Forge intercooler
