it doesn't want to be to close to the elbow is it may be to hot for the sensor at high boost.

just fitted new wheel bearing and lower ball joint. hope to start on body work now the weathers getting a bit better :D  ollie i will try to help when i can, im new to this as well but doing a lot of reading up :roll:

Thanks mate ive just bein makeing slow progress with mine ad the sills in and pulled up the carpet to find bit of rust id advise checin it lmao isit a runner sorry if uve already said mate thanks

yeah will look under carpet. no its not a runner at mo,got quite a bit to do.its been in stored in a garage for 7 years before i got it and ive had it about 3 years. its got 91000 on clock and its only been on the road half its life :?  :lol:  :lol:

alright man, i'm bringin a phase 1 back to life too.
mine was blown up and everything. like ollie's one i've just had the sills welded up too. if your's has been sittin out for a few years i'd say you should have the skirts off and check your sills. i hope your lucky with them though. the welders snapped my rear arch trims when they done.
the wheels look good as well.

cool another phase one :D  hi scratcher the sill are fine so thats lucky. thanks for the comment on the wheel but they are in fact wheel trims on steel rims. im getting some dotz roadsters in 17inch for it should look good i hope :D

17's are massive for a 5. will they fit on easy enough? the wheel trims look good on it i reckon, haha. but the ones in the photo shop pic look a bit meaner.

yeah 17s will fit with a bit of inner arch modding,move ing the rear bumper back a bit and some wheel spacers on the front :wink:
