My Phase 2 GTT

Engine

Rebuilt with BBPT rebuild engine kit comprising of*
Wossner pistons with new liners*  (added June 08 )
oil pump refurb*
new gaskets top & bottom*
shells*
new water pump*
dizzy cap/rotor arm*
high boost plugs/magnecor leads*
low temp thermostat*
T25 turbo (supplied by Adam @ Turbo Developments) .48 front/.49 rear
braided turbo feed
Piper 285 cam with uprated springs & vernier
FMIC
2 1/4 exhaust from Turbo
Samco/SFS hose kit
Forge Motorsport carb top
re jetted carb
Various chrome parts
Made 168bhp 176lbft @ 1.2 bar on old hybrid t2/t25 turbo without chargecooler
New spec power= 207bhp/209lbft @ 1.5 bar Aug 07

Chassis

Lowered on Spax RSX coilovers
dropped  2 splines on the rear
poly bushed front arb/wishbones & top mount bushes
16" Oz Super t's

Brakes

Ferodo DS2500 race pads up front
EBC turbo groove discs
Green stuff rear pads

Cobra Monaco bucket seat

Not run it down the strip yet,hoping to get to santa pod in march...hoping for some 13 sec quarters :D

Cheers,will get some of under the bonnet when i get round to fitting the chargecooler & new turbo...its a mess under there at the moment!!
Will get one up with the GTT front bumper as well.

Lol,i mean i've taken the turbo off & so i have hoses unconnected & bits missing under there,i will take some pictures of the chargecooler installation as well as the turbo if you like though :D
There is a picture in the gallery of how it was before i added a few bits. :wink:

Blimey what happened to that,were you running alot of advance,not enough fuel or too  much boost...or ALL three?lol,

I did a similar thing to my old GT,running 20psi without checking fueling & it was pinking....i blew 2 valves in half(yes they looked like they'd exploded),they dropped into no 3 & did the liners as they stuck to the rings & scraped big lines into them.

Yup...to mutch boost for the allready enritched AFR ! Normaly i feel the knock but that night it striked like ligtning ! :(
But as i've said...1.6 it's in and in 2 weaks up for runing in the big league !
I'm in the middle of his belly right now !  8)
