I wondered on that.I thought you were going to combine the GTT and GTI ones,when I saw you'd bought a bodykit.

thanks for the coments guys  :D  and nadgtt the golf bumpers have gone in skip i cut them and adjusted them to fit but they looked good when you were looking straight at them but looking from the side the bumper step out to much and it didnt suit the 5 at all saw there gone and eventually im guna get a gt lump in anyways or 2.0 16v clio engine witha blower on it  :twisted: saw just got the phase 2 kit which im glad i did now  :D  anyways an update the shell has been sprayed. laquer/clear coat tomorow   8)

I'm going to be following this with interest,as I'm going down the same route of converting a Campus,but keeping the stock body and badges.I'm going the Turbo route,for the lightweight of the lump,but have considered other options  :wink:

thanks baz  :)  and i went to a supplier in preston 5 mins away its just standard black mate
well laquered it today  8)









well need to let the laquer set for 48 hours then rub it down with 1500 grit then 2500 grit rubbing compound it then polish and wax  :D

been really busy but got some work done :D  heres some pics
saw started  on the front bumper



skimmed the filler over the fibre glass were the bumper strips used to be



smoothed down



filler primered



saw thought i would locate and drill the holes





saw thought might aswell rub down and filler primer bit n bobs for 5



started on tiny repairs on passenger side front arch









lets crack on





fibre glassing



let it set then rub down



then skimmed over filler guna let it harden and get on with rest tomorow



over bits rubbed down and filler primered



saw i thought id take a pic off the paint it flattened and shined up very well  8)

hi everyone did a few bits yesterday but going to do a good bit onit today. right saw i made front brackets for front bumper



saw rubbed down the skim of filler saw that arch is repaired



then got on rubbing rear passenger arch



hanged them up and filler primered



right thats it but going to get on with it in about half hour

right another little update well i thought i might aswel have another go with panel beatin the wing and it payed off saw now i wont be needing one now saw ill start on that tomorow.



passenger side arches all smoothed ready for priming and spraying





saw both arches are primed ready for paint but just put them on to see the car coming together  :roll:
