yeah, both my 5s, one has 15" with big brake conversion and the other standard, need the weights put in different places to balance the wheels.

Where abouts in Essex are you?

Go for Koni adjustables all round, you cant go wrong with them  8)  plus if you fancy the work poly bushes. Decent set of tyres and pads and you should see yourself a reasonable track toy to have fun in. Driving over to germany is great :) doesn't matter what car your in, been over there in my 5 once, and my 19 convertible 3 times, have had loads up fun in the 19 as can put the roof down and enjoy the drive round with the sound of all the nice cars going past :D

Same story with a mint phase 1 down this way, had 52k miles on the clock, stripped so many parts off it but this was from the breakers who get these scrapped cars.

Also a bloke has my number who hopefully will ring, he has a 1 owner from new renault 5 raider, totally original but was going to put it through the scrappage scheme, i just hope he changes his mind. But would be wanting 2k for the car as thats what he would get for it.

What a great weekend it was, plenty of weekend activity at the camp site plus out on track. Disappointed with my car, once again could not get it running for national day. Lets see what next year brings I guess.

They had the phase 1 in there being broken, 52k on the clock and in mint condition. Got in there early though, not much of it left really after I finished, sad to break it really.

You do realise how many pages is in the haynes manual and how long it will take to put in place. Why not purchase one.

The main difference between the clio and the 5 box is the final drive. Unsure on the campus but that is cable driven, its on the renault 5 gt turbo out of those boxes which are electrical

Clio and 5 boxes will interchange no problems, the speedo will not work though unless you swap of the clocks to a mechnical cable rather than the electrical one which is in the 5 already.

I know of a couple down that way, not sure how regular they drive them though, im from Braintree area, quite a few up here as well, I drive mine the odd occasion, just need to sort out problems with it, like usual but its all fun. Maybe when I restore my other 5 it will be out a lot more as that will be my daily driver.

So you want smaller discs than the renault 21 Txi then?? Renault 21 TXi discs are 285mm and are used with the extender brackets made by k-tec.
