Hi, does anyone knows how much you can shorten the actuator arm  on a T25, before the actuator gets damaged?

Well this is my 1989 phase 2 R5GTT


T25 turbo .48 rear with 360 thrust 20-22 psi
alloy carb elbow
re-jetted carb
samco boost hoses
KTR double core alloy IC
KTR leads
NGK plugs
full stainless steel exhaust 60mm with downpipe
omp cone filter
cooper rad
koni shocks
APEX 35mm springs
omp strut brace
15'' wheels from clio 1.8 16v
yoko tyres 195.50.15
ferodo ds2500 pads

Made in dyno with T2 turbo and 18 psi boost without the new exhaust
145 bhp and 223 Nm.Estimated now at 170 bhp.

Hi guys!What do you think its best for the gtt?
Standard air box,a cone filter or an induction kit?
i have tried several but really can not say a difference.. :shock:

What do i need to go close to 200hp?
I may be up to 170-180hp ( am i ? ) from what i see from similar configs.
My current specs are

T25 turbo .48 front,360 thrust
Twin core alloy IC
samco boost pipes and alloy lobster elbow
60mm stainless steel full exhaust system+downpipe
KTR leads
rejetted carb 145 main
omp cone filter
external breather system
cup mode
uprated cooling system ( cooper rad. ,switch etc. )
 20psi boost
intenals pistons,gasket, etc all standard

Hi guys,
has anybody tried to work without air filter box?
just the turbo alone without filter cone or similar things...
Have you seen any power gain? :twisted:

Hi guys, i have a K-tec GrA dump valve and very often the rubber diaphragm goes out of the right place(like it is chewed!!).i run about 20 psi but this DV works properly up to 30psi.Also recently my old turbo broked down and the DV was filled with oil but i cleaned it.Does anybody has any knowledge ?

Hi guys,i just installed a new T25 A/R 48 to my R5.The car goes better than before but it isn't what i this turbo with this A/R suitable for R5?How much boost do you think that i should run?the intercooler is bigger(k-tec) but the downpipe and the exhaust is standard.What number of main jet would you recomend?What number of horsepower should i expect? :?:

:shock: HI does anybody knows how to fit a DV in r5gtt?I tried but now the car has a lot of lag when the turbo starts to spin for a couple of sec. like something holds back the car please HELP!!
